Who We Are?

Founded in 1995, our family-run clinic has grown from a small practice in Inverness into one of the most advanced chiropractic and rehabilitation clinics in Scotland.

After graduating and completing their compulsory year-long work placement in Aberdeen, husband-and-wife team Eugene and Valerie Pearce secured premises on Abban Street in Inverness. The building became both their home and their first clinic, marking the beginning of a long-standing commitment to healthcare in the Highlands.

 

Early Success and Business Growth

Shortly after opening, Eugene and Valerie achieved major recognition by winning first place in the Highlands and Islands Business Awards and second place in the national PSYBT/RBS Awards. The prize money was immediately reinvested into the clinic, allowing them to purchase a second treatment bench so they could treat patients simultaneously and increase appointment availability.

Over the next three decades, the clinic continued to expand and modernise.

 

By purchasing the neighbouring property, the practice was able to introduce:

 

• A dedicated spinal rehabilitation room
• On-site digital X-ray facilities
• A DEXA bone densitometer for osteoporosis screening
• Additional treatment and consultation space

Today, the clinic is recognised as one of Scotland’s leading centres for chiropractic care, physiotherapy, spinal rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal health.

 

Expansion to Dornoch

On 16 September 2008, the practice opened a second clinic in Dornoch, based in the beautifully restored old station building on the Dornoch to Embo Road.

The Dornoch clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making professional chiropractic and rehabilitation services more accessible across the Highlands.

 

A Complete Family Healthcare Team

The practice has continued to grow into a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic offering a wide range of services, including:

• Spinal rehabilitation
• Sports and therapeutic massage

 

In August 2020, Eugene and Valerie welcomed their son Henry into the business, continuing the family tradition of patient-focused healthcare. With their youngest daughter currently studying physiotherapy and hoping to join the clinic in the future, the practice remains proudly family owned and operated.
